The core business of Saniteks is the production and distribution of medical devices, sanitary and hygienic products of high quality. The company has been established in 1962. and is located in Velika Kladuša, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and till today remains the only manufacturer in this specific industry. Production facilities are located in Velika Kladuša and Bužim, total covering area of 30.000m2.
Over 50% of total sales income is generated from export markets, mostly in EU countries. In addition to exporting to highly standardized markets, Saniteks is leading company, for many years, in supplying market of Bosnia and Herzegovina with products from its portfolio. Main products from our portfolio are unbleached gauze, sterile and unsterile gauze products, bandage material, plaster of Paris bandages, plasters, cotton wool and cotton wool products, first aid kits, non-woven and woven products. In addition to the existing wide-ranging portfolio, we are able to fulfill our customer’s specific requirements and requests to produce specific dimensions and packaging of our products.
Our business and production activities are fully compliant with international standard ISO 13485:2012, related to medical devices production. Saniteks production quality system is also compliant with Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC, consequently why all Saniteks’ products are given CE mark.
As raw material in our production process we are using 100% cotton, Ph. Eur quality. All production, sterilization and quality control processes in Saniteks are fully compatible to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) requirements.
